This is a mostly static website. We do not use accounts or cookies of our own.

Reviews, questions & comments

If you use the comment form on an ashram page or the Q&A page, we store the name you enter, the post type, optional rating, your message, the page and the time, in a database hosted by Cloudflare (D1). To limit spam we also store a one-way hash of your IP address (not the IP itself), used only for rate limiting. Posts are reviewed before publication; approved posts (name, type, rating, message, date) are shown publicly. Don't include contact details or other personal information in your post. To ask for removal of your post, submit a request through the same form on that page (it reaches only moderators unless approved). No third-party comment service or tracking is used.

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and operations. We include affiliate links to BookRetreats (and, in future, may add Amazon.in affiliate links in our articles, which would be labelled); if you click one, BookRetreats may set cookies (about 3 months) to attribute a booking. We set no cookies ourselves. If we add analytics or advertising in future, this page will be updated first and will name each provider.
